1929 Packard Runabout. Restored in 1974 and shown very little there after. Properly stored and lovingly cared for since 1979 in climate controlled storage.
Mechanically restored this year including valve job, distributer, starter, generator, carb, fuel system cleaned and resealed, gas tank relined, brakes rebuilt. All fluids flushed and changed. Beautiful leather upholstery, with no cracks. Canvas convertible top is tight and fits perfectly. Engine compartment and under carriage highly detailed. Exterior paint is very presentable. A few small areas where lacquer paint is shrinking and showing some slight cracking. Chrome is still very bright and clean. Tires have full tread and no dry rot.
This car is ready for the show circuit, or to be driven and enjoyed. This Packard 640 drives beautifully and everything works as it should. Same family ownership for over 40 years. Offered at $130,000. More photos here.
